Welcome, we’re glad you’re here
Join us this Sunday
What time do you meet?
At Fred’s Pass, we currently meet together every Sunday at 9:30am. At Batchelor, we meet at 9am. After the service we serve morning tea so that we can spend time with each other. You can join in as much or as little as you like.
Where are you?
Please see the ‘Contact us’ tab for directions to both churches.
What should I expect?
Our service runs for around 70 minutes. There will be music, teaching, and a chance to respond.
Music - Music is an integral part of our worship. Our band leads us in singing several songs at each service. This is a time for the church to engage our hearts and minds with God's truth by singing about Him and to Him. Sing along if you’d like, or feel free to simply listen.
Teaching - Every week one of our teaching pastors will share a sermon from the Bible about Jesus and how life was designed to work. Sometimes, the teaching time will have opportunity for interaction but you don’t have to if you don’t want to. Don’t have a Bible? We’re happy to give you one or you can download the free Bible App.
Responding - After the sermon we can respond to God through:
1) Prayer. This is a time when we bring our needs and the needs of the world before our loving Father.
2) Communion. This is a time for followers of Jesus to reflect on Jesus’ death on the cross and remember the unity we have in Christ.
3) Commitment. We dedicate our time, talents and finances to God’s service.
Is there anywhere for my kids?
Your kids are most welcome! At Fred’s Pass, we have a children’s ministry that runs during the service where your children can learn about Jesus in a safe*, fun environment. Colouring sheets, activities and toys will be available in a special area set aside for families. Children and families are encouraged to participate in all aspects of the service if they wish and Sunday School will be available for school-age children during the teaching time for adults.
At this time, there is no dedicated children’s ministry at Batchelor.
*All of our children’s volunteers have received a Working with Children’s Clearance, and have completed Safe Ministry Training.
Am I expected to do anything weird?
We won’t ask you to stand up if you’re new, hold hands with anyone, or pray publicly. We’d love to get to know you, but you can be as anonymous as you want to be.
Do I need to bring anything?
You won’t need to bring anything. However, you’re more than welcome to bring a Bible, notepad and pen if you’d like.
is there anything else I can attend?
We’ve got a number of smaller Bible studies happening throughout the week. Just contact us if you’d like to get involved, or have a chat to one of the staff on Sunday.
Any other questions?
We know that visiting a church can be a big thing. Please contact us here or give us a call on 0438061086 if you’ve got any questions.
